West Georgia Health System(WGHS) in LaGrange, GA has chosen to use the WebPAX "Software as a Service" (SaaS) product to manage cardiac MRI images.  WGHS, like many other customers, is seeing the financial benefit of outsourcing image management, reducing overhead and IT costs.  The WebPAX SaaS model eliminates the large capital expenditure for PACS hardware and maintenence by hosting the service out of a data center in Durham, NC and charging a small monthly fee based on actual usage.

Dr. Tom Gore of WGHS says “WebPax SaaS is a perfect fit for us in our community hospital Cardiac MRI program.  It houses all our clinical images and provides easy web access, as well as potential for collaboration.  We are planning to use it as the base for a clinical research program in MRI.  The set up and implementation was very efficient and cost-effective compared to other options.”
